A trip to the Coast

What an awesome week away. Filled to the brim with family. family. and more family. A couple visits with great friends and lots of beach, boat, sun and pool time.

My parents live in the most amazing place. Perdido Key, FL. It's close to so many things to do... yet, it's tucked away in a little slice of paradise.

More pics fro our time with Haley at the Bama.

Who needs a walker we when have coolers.

The main reason for our trip was that my momma was retiring after 43 years of teaching. She is the most amazing first grade teacher and I know how much she is going to miss teaching and most of all, the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of little ones. But, she has 9 grand babies that are waiting and ready for her attention... not to mention a retired Papa Sam who is ready to have GranDe home! I'm so happy for her and can't wait to have her "available" to come visit whenever she pleases!!

We made a special trip to see my grandparents - Annalee's great grand's. They had so much fun during our visit. It was so great to be able to spend time with them.

Annalee had so much fun getting to know her grandparents.

And soaked up lots of boat and beach time.

We also celebrated little bit's first birthday with my family and my best friend from home. It was the perfect little pool party and Annalee was surrounded by 7 of her cousins and so much love! My brothers mean so much to me and I hate that our kids don't get to see each other every day, but the times we do get to spend together is so special.

Such good memories. And my favorite picture from the trip...

Soaking up the Sun | Summer 2016

We are having a blast on the gulf coast kicking off the summer in style. Just wanted to share a few pics from our adventures since we arrived.

Annalee loved her first boat ride.

Celebrated her birthday again with gifts from GranDe and Papa Sam!

Sported a few ponytails and lots of bathing suites and coverups.

Loved playing in the sand!

And had a great time at the Flora-Bama.

And the most fun, meeting Mrs. Haley!! Love ya girl, miss you!

Cheers from the coast! I will be back next week with more pics of fun in the sun.

A Garden Party | Annalee's First Birthday

We had the perfect little garden party celebration for our sweet Annalee last Saturday. The forecast was calling for a total wash-out, so we were ecstatic to actually see some sun!

We kept the party simple, with just a couple close friends and their kiddos. But we had to cover the basics... invites, smash cake, party favors... and lots of fun party decor!

Karli from September Farm designed the most beautiful invitation for us.

I decorated her seat with flowers from the Dollar Store and cutout letters using my Cricut.

A few party treats... including mini cupcakes from Sweet Treats Bakery.

Of course, no first birthday is complete without a #1 balloon!

And of course, a monthly collage. My how you have grown little one.

Her lamb cake. A good story on this one coming soon!

Fun in the ball pit!

...and pony {or zebra} rides!

So excited to see the sun!

Party Favors!

Thank you to all of our friends for celebrating with us! We are so lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful peeps. Thank you for helping us raise the sweetest, most curious and happy little girl. She is so full of life - and we owe that to so many of you. We love you sweet girl!

Happy 1st Birthday!
